Terms of Service
These prototype terms cover how parents, caregivers and daycare directors use Haven Keiki.
Who can use Haven Keiki
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. Caregivers must complete vetting before accepting any shift, and centers must maintain a valid childcare license.
Caregiver vetting
Background checks, registry screens, reference checks and current CPR/First Aid certification are required and must stay current. Expired credentials suspend eligibility for dispatch.
Bookings, shifts and cancellations
Accepting a booking or dispatched shift is a commitment. Cancellations more than 12 hours out release escrow holds; repeated late cancellations or no-shows can remove platform access.
Payments and escrow
Shift amounts are held in escrow at the agreed rate and released after GPS check-out is confirmed. In this prototype all amounts are tracked as simulated transactions — no funds are actually moved.
Conduct and safety
Keep communication in-app, never share or request personal contact details, never take a child off the approved location, and check in and out on-site. Harassment, discrimination and abusive language are prohibited.
Reporting and enforcement
Anyone can report or block a user. Reports are reviewed by our trust and safety team, and accounts may be suspended or permanently removed for violations.
